Role Description The Business Partner – WOJO Capetown role at WOJO Africa is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi. The role involves overseeing daily operations of the WOJO site, ensuring coworking and hospitality spaces run smoothly and provide an excellent experience for members and guests. The Business Partner will build and manage relationships with tenants, corporate clients, and local partners, support sales and marketing initiatives, and help drive occupancy and revenue. Typical responsibilities include coordinating events and community activities, supervising front-of-house service standards, monitoring budgets and performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and brand guidelines. The role also requires close collaboration with Accor and WOJO regional teams to implement strategic projects and continuously improve the Workspitality offering.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business operations, coworking, or hospitality management, including oversight of day-to-day site activities and service delivery.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage tenants, partners, and community members professionally.
  • Background in sales, business development, or account management, with exposure to revenue growth, lead generation, and contract negotiation.
  • Knowledge of marketing and event coordination, including support for local campaigns, community events, and brand-building activities.
  • Solid organizational, planning, and analytical abilities, including budgeting, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Nairobi, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications or prior experience with Accor or coworking brands are beneficial.
